Your move, Mom and Dad

Mother didn't take to well to the plan. She is concerned about money. But she knows I'll probably end up buying a ticket anyway. Resigned to the truth of the matter, she willingly talks about the trip as if it is a real thing.

Have not brought this up with the Father yet. He might also not think it's best for me to spend so much money.

However, perhaps I could call this trip research for future job opportunities. After all, I have told my family that I plan to teach English in Japan for a year or two after college. I recently made a contact at one of the major English conversation schools, lining up a potential visit if I'm in the area.

So this trip is a part of my job search!
